Below the surface an entire universe begins… There are so little things that we know about the mother oceans, as people only managed to explore five percent of its vast presence. It keeps all our secrets, our DNA, as a monolith of memories since our very first appearance on earth. Below the ocean’s surface lays mysteries, depth and feelings of exploration, just like our personal surface that keep hidden dreams, desires, stories that brought us to the very moment. 

“We are like islands in the sea, separate on the surface but connected in the deep.” The work is a reminder that oceans are the ones that keep us all interconnected, oceans are the ones that keeps us alive, and oceans are life itself, and we do have the duty to protect, cherish and tell their stories for generations to come, as a tribute for our mere existence.
